Biripi Baby Show 2018

The Connected Families Team attended the Biripi Baby Show last week. The theme for 2018 was “Because Of Her We Can”. MSS provided drumming and the little ones loved having a hit on the drums!
MSS also facilitated the painting of hands and feet of the babies – the little foot or hand prints were then added to a poem for Mum. 
All new Biripi babies were recognised & received into the community and welcomed with an ochre paint ceremony by an Aboriginal community elder.
